The X4 is a bright, compact light with a lot of great features. Compared to the X2 Pro, it improves on a few things:

- The switch is bigger and easier to use in the dark. The addition of a dedicated moonlight mode is nice.
- The switch also acts as a guard for the charging port. It’s a sleeker design compared to the silicone stopper on the X2 Pro.
- The rotary dial feels smoother and more secure because it’s enclosed.
- The UI is simpler and easy to learn.
- The side lights are floodier, but trades off on throw, which is fine for the side lights.
